LOW-CARB, HIGH-FAT DIET FOOD LISTS
lists of foods I eat on my low sugar diet
There are many types of low-carb diet and I’ve no idea what category mine would fall under – the ‘slapdash’ one, no doubt. My approach is simple: eat whole foods, avoid processed foods, eat natural fats, avoid sugar, do fasting, avoid overeating. But don’t be fanatical about it – enjoy it!
I put together the following low-carb, high-fat food lists to help me to stay on track – at a glance I can be reminded of all the foods I love to eat and avoid falling into the pizza and doughnuts trap. So long as I choose foods from these lists and combine them with time-restricted eating, the weight goes down, the energy goes up and my mental and physical health improve dramatically. I’m also in the process of adding my preferred low-carb, high-fat recipes (loose term – don’t expect measurements and carb counts on this site!) so that I can turn to tried and tested meals whenever I feel myself sliding off track.
Hopefully these low-sugar food lists will be of help to you as you explore your own version of a low-carb, high-fat diet.

The purpose of the ‘diet’ area of this website is not to offer nutritional, health or weight loss advice or information; it is simply to share my own version of a low-carb, high-fat, intermittent fasting diet after years of fine-tuning what works best for me. This food list is based purely on what I choose to eat personally as part of my 5 Steps to Well-Being plan and is not part of a recognised diet programme.
